PET POLICY

At the Howard Johnson Portland Airport pets are welcome. It is our policy to charge a $15.00 per night non-refundable cleaning fee per pet. For the safety of our employees, we request you keep your pet leashed during maid service. Our housekeeping staff reserves the right to not provide cleaning services to your room if your pet is unleashed.   Owners of service animals are still responsible for any additional extra cleaning fees that might be incurred due to the animal.  Our standard cleaning fee will not however be automatically posted. 
The guest assumes all responsibility for the pet during the visit including damage caused to the room, furniture and common areas of the hotel, as well as any injuries caused by the dog to anyone while staying at the hotel. No pets are allowed at the breakfast area at any time.


However, certain rooms will not accommodate a Pet. Call Hotel For More Information.

IF DAMAGE IS DISCOVERED AFTER CHECKOUT, CREDIT CARD ON RECORD WILL BE CHARGED.

SMOKING POLICY

Portland state law prohibits smoking inside non-smoking room in hotels. There will be a $250 non-refundable fee for deep cleaning services charged to any room that has been smoked in to restore it back to its non-smoking condition. 

IF DAMAGE IS DISCOVERED AFTER CHECKOUT, CREDIT CARD ON RECORD WILL BE CHARGED.

DAMAGE POLICY

Damage to the property, including but not limited to guest rooms, public areas, fixtures, furnishings, artwork, décor or linens, will result in a charge of up $1000 for the replacement value or necessary cleaning.

IF DAMAGE IS DISCOVERED AFTER CHECKOUT, CREDIT CARD ON RECORD WILL BE CHARGED.

LOST & FOUND POLICY

We will ship items back at owner's expense upon request. Unclaimed items will be placed in our lost & found. Any items remaining in the lost & found will be donated to charity or discarded after 30 days.

PRE-AUTHORIZATION INFORMATION

In The Case That A Guest's Room Is To Be Paid By Another Party's Credit Card That Will Not Be Attending The Hotel, A Pre-Authorization Form Is Required To Be Filled Out By The Credit Card Holder Allowing The Howard Johnson Portland Airport To Use The Credit Card For The Specified Charges. A Reservation Agent Will Be Able To Fax Or E-Mail You The Form To Be Filled Out At Your Request.

PHOTO ID

Valid Photo Id Is Required Both For The Check In Process, As Well As Being A Necessity To Process A Credit Card.

LATE DEPARTURE POLICY

Check-out is at 12:00 pm. Late departures (after 1:00p.m.), unless previously discussed with the innkeeper, will result in a charge of ONE ADDITIONAL NIGHT (this charge does not guarantee the departing guest accommodations), as well as any additional fees associated with booking alternative accommodations for the incoming guest. Our housekeeping staff needs the time after check-out and before check-in to prepare guest rooms for all arriving guests, and any delay can cause the room to not be ready in time for the next guest.

CHILDREN POLICY

Children: Howard Johnson Portland Airport welcomes families traveling with children of any age. Howard Johnson Portland Airport accepts families traveling with children aged 5 and under stay free.
